How to calculate gold, silver, platinum, and palladium prices with our calculator? It’s fairly simple to use our calculator for doing a quick price evaluation. If you know some basic information about the merchandise you own, a calculation can be done in less than a minute.
What do you need to know to calculate a price?
You need to know what metal you own. Our calculator allows you to calculate gold, silver, platinum, and palladium prices.
Calculate Gold Price
Most items made of gold are clearly marked.
Look for this markings: 8K (333), 9K (375), 10K (416), 14K (585 or 583), 18K (750), 21K (875), 22K (916), 24K (999).
Bad* markings: GF, GP, RGP, HGE, 1/10, 1/20, 1/40
Calculate Silver Price
Most items made of silver are clearly marked.
Look for this markings: 800, 835, 850, 900, 925 (STERLING, SS, STER), 950, 999
Bad* markings: 90, 100, 110, 150, PLATED, PLAT, ALPACCA
Calculate Platinum Price
Most items made of platinum are clearly marked.
Look for this markings: 800, 900, 950, PT, PLAT, PLATINUM
Bad* markings: PLATED
Calculate Palladium Price
Most items made of palladium are clearly marked.
Look for this markings: PAL, PALLADIUM, PD, PD 900, PD 950
Bad* markings: PLATED

Select your metal’s purity according to the marking you found. Contact us if you cannot find the purity needed.
(4) Select Unit Of Weight
Some people are used to GRAM and others to PENNYWEIGHT. Select your desired unit of weight.
